Will of MICHAEL LEGGETT, 28th March 1780 of Mecklenburg County,

being weak in body...my negro wench named Pen & her first born
son Will to my daughter Grace, wife to  James Harris...her daugh- 
ter Margaret, also one bed & furniture, the said James Harris
paying to my son Michael Leggett, L 500...to my son Jackson
Leggett, the plantation I now live on, L 100 to be paid by my
Exers., also L 100 to my daughter Esther, to my son Michael Leg-
gett, whom I make exr., horse, saddle & furniture, one gun to his
