Mitchell County, NC - Flat Branch Cemetery

FLAT BRANCH CEMETERY

LOCATION: From the point at which 197 N leaves the Toe River between Huntdale 
and Pigeon Roost Creek, drive north on 197 for 2.2 miles, turning right into 
Flat Creek Road.  Continue 0.6 miles to a dirt road on your left.  Turn into 
this road and make an immediate left.  There is a gate across this road which 
you may open, and also a faded sign to the cemetery, which is a hundred yards 
or so farther.

ACCESSIBILITY: Easy.  The access road encircles the cemetery, which is divided 
into two parts.  A beautiful spot in the woods.

CONDITION: Excellent.  There is even a clean ‘privy' for anyone's use.
