NEULAN BLEVINS 

SPRUCE PINE - Neulan Blevins, 74, of Huskins Way, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006 at 
his home. He was the son of the late Nathan and Maggie McKinney Blevins. He was 
preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, and a grandson, Daniel Paul 
McKinney. He was a retired rock drilling operator and a member of Cornerstone 
Bible Church.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Holden Blevins of the home; a daughter, 
Tina Joyce Hoyle of Penland; two sons, Murrell McKinney of Burnsville, and Paul 
McKinney of Roan Mountain; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and 
several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cornerstone Bible Church. 
Revs. Eddie Ledford, Steve Taylor and Brad Hughes officiated. Burial followed 
in Kona Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. 
Tuesday at Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine.
