ZORA OLLIS BLEVINS 
 
BAKERSVILLE - Zora Ollis Blevins, 86, of the Cane Creek community, died 
Sunday, April 15, 2007 in Spruce Pine Community Hospital. She was the daughter 
of the late Robert and Blanche Greene Ollis, and wife of the late Burt 
Blevins. She was also preceded in death by one son, Doug Blevins. She was a 
homemaker and member of Cane Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Blevins and Bobbie Mosley, both of 
Bakersville; one son, Billy Blevins of Bakersville; three granddaughters; and 
two great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes 
Funeral Home in Bakersville. The Revs. Gerald Grindstaff and Mark Newton 
officiated. Burial followed in Cane Creek Cemetery. The family received 
friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
