D. Bowman Dies at Oakville Mrs. Annie Lee Bowman, Oakville, 74-year old pioneer of Sisters, Ores., who had livened in Linn county for the last 17 years died at her home early today after an extended illness and will be buried in the Oakville cemetery Wednesday, following service to be conducted by the Fisher Funeral home at the Oakville United Presbyterian church at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Edward Patterson, pastor of that church, officiating. Mrs. Bowman was a native of Bakersville, N.C., born April 22, 1882. She had settled at sisters in 1906, moving thence to Bend before coming to Linn county. She was married June 2, 1904, at Bakersville to J. D. Bowman, who survives as do a son, James Ray Bowman, Sierra Madre, Cal.; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred A. Tittle, RFD 3, Albany; a sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Street, Unicoi, Tenn., and five grandchildren. She was a member of the Women’s Missionary society at the Oakville church.
