MARY BELLE BUCHANAN 

SPRUCE PINE - Mary Belle Buchanan, 70, of Feldspar Street, died Monday, Sept. 
5, 2005 in Spruce Pine Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late 
Raymond and Pearl Autrey Burleson, and wife of the late Kelly G. Buchanan. She 
was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Lola McKinney and Kellena Buchanan, both of 
Spruce Pine; one son, Kelly Ray Buchanan of Spruce Pine; one sister, Ellie 
Ledford of Spruce Pine; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Grindstaff Memorial Chapel 
of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Dallas Renfro officiated. Burial was 
in Bear Creek Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the 
service
