Deceased  --  Jennie Veva BURLESON BUCHANAN, age 83, of Bandana Community,
and widow of Carl BUCHANAN.    She was a member of the congregation, and
burial will be in Silver Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was daughter of Jesse and Vennie GRINDSTAFF BURLESON.  She was preceded
in death by sisters Edith BURLESON HOWELL and Mae BURLESON GRINDSTAFF.
Survivors are daughters Marlene BUCHANAN JOHNSON of Winston-Salem, Hazel
BUCHANAN GORTNEY of Green Mountain, NC, and Norma Faye BUCHANAN GARLAND of
Bakersville; sisters Edity BURLESON WYKE of Taylorsville, NC, Mary BURLESON
HUGHES of Burnsville, Eberta BURLESON BUCHANAN and Ruth BURLESON GRINDSTAFF,
both of Bakersville; brothers James BURLESON of Williamson, GA, Paul and
Frank BURLESON, both of Bakersville, and several nieces and nephews.
