Burial in Cane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Bakersville.
She was a daughter of Thomas J. Woody and wife, Carrie Buchanan Woody, of
Bakersville, both deceased.
Burial in Cane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors are daughters Sherry Bennett Cosby and Sharon Bennett Osborne,
both of Johnson City, and Paula Bennett Whitehead of Willow Grove, PA,
sisters Lucille Woody Burleson and Gail Woody Fowler, both of Johnson City,
Sue Woody Greene and Mattie Woody Stiles, both of Bakersville, and Barbara
Woody Taylor of Jonesborough, TN, brothers Zeb, Alfred and Charles Woody,
all of Bakersville, two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
