MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Rose Helen Benton, 13 Mar 2005

SPRUCE PINE - Rose Helen Benton, 91, of Ollis Road, died Sunday, March 13,
2005 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Otis and Grace Privette
Hall, and wife of the late Jack Benton Sr.

Survivors include a daughter, Judith Ann Benton of Spruce Pine; a son, Jack L.
Benton of Gainesville, GA; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Grindstaff Memorial
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Cephas Renfro officiated.
Burial followed in Spruce Pine Memorial Cemetery. The family received friends
from 1 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
