FLOY BIDDIX 

SPRUCE PINE - Floy McKinney Biddix, 85, of Halltown Road, died 
Sunday, Mar. 14, 2004 in a Spruce Pine healthcare facility. She 
was the daughter of the late Melvin and Mary Jane Autrey McKinney, 
and wife of the late Lloyd Biddix. She was a member of Berry Chapel 
Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Wanda Bennett, Shirley Calhoun 
and Billie Jean Trombley, all of Spruce Pine; four sons, Blaine 
Biddix, Jim Biddix and Richard Biddix, all of Marion, and Mike Biddix 
of Spruce Pine; one brother, Barney McKinney of Spruce Pine; three 
sisters, Maxine Page of Charlotte, Lillian Walker of Elkin and Ruby 
Burleson; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. 
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Berry Chapel Baptist 
Church. Rev. Greg Hollifield officiated. Burial was in the church 
cemetery. The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the service 
hour at the church. Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine was in charge of 
arrangements.
