MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Faye Lowery Biddix, 2 Mar 2005

SPRUCE PINE - Faye Lowery Biddix, 86, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at the
Brian Center in Spruce Pine. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy
Biddix; and a son, William Douglas Biddix. A homemaker, she was a former
Sunday School teacher and member of Turkey Cove Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Edwin Tommy Biddix of Murfreesboro, TN; a daughter,
Polly Biddix of Spruce Pine; a sister, Thelma McGee of Marion; two grandsons;
and one great grandson. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Turkey Cove Baptist Church.
Revs. Zane Sistare and Paul Hollifield officiated. Burial followed in the
church cemetery. The family received friends from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at
Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville. Memorial donations may be made to
Hospice of Mitchell County, P.O. Box 38, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
