AUDREY BOSTON

SPRUCE PINE - Audrey Boston, 70, of Boston Hill Road, died Friday, Jan. 
31, 2003 at her home. She was the daughter of the late W.C. and Bertie 
Pitman Shipman. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Boston; daughters, Amelia Weeks and 
Janet Brooks, both of Spruce Pine; a son, Greg Boston of Spruce Pine; 
sisters, Inez Cox of Vansant, VA, June Nichols of N. Palm Beach, FL, and 
Libby Pratt of Winter Haven, FL; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; 
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Grindstaff Memorial Chapel 
of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. David Johnson officiated. Burial was 
in Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the 
service hour Sunday at the funeral home.
