MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Arthur David Burleson Jr., 5 Mar 2004

JOHNSON CITY, TN - Arthur David (A.D.) Burleson Jr., 81, died Friday, 
Mar. 5, 2004 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was the son of the 
late Arthur D. and Jane Burleson Sr. He was an Army veteran and retired 
from Pet Dairy. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Blevins Burleson of the home; two 
sons, Mike Burleson of Johnson City, and Johnn David Burleson of 
Jonesborough, TN; a daughter, Linda Oakes of Johnson City; a sister, 
Beatrice Young of Gray, TN; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; 
one great great grandchild; and three nieces. 
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Sunday at Morris Baker Funeral Home. 
Rev. Elbert Charpie officiated. Burial was at 1 p.m. Monday in Roselawn 
Memorial Park. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the 
funeral home.
