BLANCHE HOBSON CAIN 

BAKERSVILLE - Blanche Hobson Cain, 83, of Cain Hollow Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 
1, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Fonzer and Nettie Ledford Hobson and 
a member of Cloudland Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Bobby Cain and Billy Cain, both of Bakersville; 
three sisters, Laura Cook, Bernice Cook and Marie McKinney, all of 
Bakersville; a brother, Howard Hobson of Bakersville; five grandchildren; and 
three great grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Cloudland Baptist Church. Revs. 
Danny Silvers, Ronnie Gouge and Glen Autrey officiated. Burial followed in 
Hobson Cemetery on Cane Hollow Road. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. 
Thursday at the church. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Mitchell 
County, P.O. Box 38, Spruce Pine, NC 28777. Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in 
Bakersville was in charge of arrangements.
