JOHNNIE CARVER 

BURNSVILLE - Johnnie "Junior" Carver, 68, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007. A 
native of Mitchell County, he was the son of the late Dock and Etta Davis 
Carver.He was also preceded in death by one brother, Howard Carver. He was 
retired from Frontier Health in Johnson City, Tenn.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Carver; a daughter, Sherry Carver; a step-
daughter, Angela Poston; two stepsons, Greg and John Ledford; four sisters, 
Ruth Whitson, Charlene Cook, Thelma Smith and Sue Karner; two grandchildren; 
two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

As requested, no funeral services were held. Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in 
Bakersville assisted the family.
