BETTY VAN BARNES CAVANAUGH 

ROCKY MOUNT - Betty Van Barnes Cavanaugh, 75, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007.

She was the daughter of the late Amy Stancil and Needie Clarence Barnes, and 
wife of the late Don R. Cavanaugh. 

Survivors include two daughters, Janet C. Graham of Spruce Pine, and Lynn C. 
Blades of Wilmington; one sister, Lorene B. Murchison of Rocky Mount; and 
three granddaughters.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church 
of Rocky Mount. A Celebration of Life gathering will follow at 2 p.m., with 
Rev. Bill Grisham officiating. Burial will be at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. 
Burial will be at Rocky Mount Memorial Park. Johnson Funerals and Cremations 
in Rocky Mount assisted the family.
