OSSIE WEBB CLARK
SPRUCE PINE - Ossie Webb Clark, 93, of Dale Road, died Thursday, 
Oct. 10, 2002 at the Brian Center in Spruce Pine. A homemaker, she 
was the daughter of the late Silvester and Molly Hopkins Webb, and 
wife of the late Joe S. Clark. She was also preceded in death by 
seven sons and one daughter.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd Mac Clark of Hickory; four daughters, 
Mae Ard of Imperial, CA, Betty Joe Harris of Valdese, Evelyn Hollifield 
of Spruce Pine, and Janice Blevins of Burnsville; 22 grandchildren; 29 
great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Henline-
Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. Wendell Parlier, Matthew Mills 
and J.D. McClellan officiated. Burial followed in Green Valley Cemetery. 
The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral 
home.
