JOSEPH RANSOM CLISBY
LITTLE SWITZERLAND – Joseph Ransom Clisby, 89, of Blands Knob, died 
Monday, April 1, 2002 in Spruce Pine Community Hospital. He was the son 
of the late Joseph Ward and Louise Logan Clisby. Retired from Clisby and 
Company in Macon, GA, he was a former member of the Macon Rotary Club and 
a member of Phi Delta Theta.
Survivors include his wife, Jimmie Smith Clisby of the home; a sister, 
Helen Barfield of Macon, GA; and three nieces.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. Webb Funeral Home 
in Spruce Pine is in charge of arrangements.
