AZOLINE JOHNSON CONNOLLY

BAKERSVILLE - Azoline Johnson Connolly, 95, of the Ledger community, 
died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003 in a Spruce Pine health care facility. 
She was the daughter of the late Rafe and Lou Isaac Johnson, and wife 
of the late Lawrence Connolly. She was also preceded in death by a great 
grandson, Shawn Patrick. She was a member of Ledger Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, James D. Connolly of Princeton, WV, and Bill 
D. Connolly of Snellville, GA; four grandchildren; and six great 
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Grindstaff Memorial 
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Revs. Jay Orr and Russell 
McKinney officiated. Burial was in Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. 
The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
