MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Ruth Willis Connolly, 1 Feb 2005

REIDSVILLE - Ruth Willis Connolly, 94, formerly of Mitchell County, died
Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005 at Annie Penn Hospital. A homemaker, she was the
daughter of the late Avery and Bessie Willis, and wife of J. Earl Connolly.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara C. Mitchell; her siblings, Jennie,
Avery, Ralph and Bob Willis; one granddaughter; and several nieces and
nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 3 at City Funeral Home
Chapel. Burial followed in Greenview Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made
to Main Street United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 338,
Reidsville, NC 27320; or Friends of Reidsville Public Library, 204 West
Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC 27320.
