MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Nadine Patterson Cooper, 25 Apr 2004

BAKERSVILLE - Nadine Patterson Cooper, 68, of Greene Lane, died 
Sunday, Apr. 25, 2004 at her home. A native of McDowell County, 
she was the daughter of the late John Ray and Mae Elizabeth Baker 
Patterson, and wife of the late Fred Cooper. She was also preceded 
in death by one sister. She was a member of North Cove Church of God.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane West and Deborah Ferguson, 
both of Bakersville; one son, Rick Cooper of Burnsville; a brother, 
Louis Ray Patterson of Shelby; 12 grandchildren; 16 great 
grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. 
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Grindstaff Memorial 
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Braswell officiated. Graveside 
services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Ledger Baptist Church 
Cemetery. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until the service hour 
at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of 
Mitchell County, Gideons.
