He was the son of the late Lewis and Vernie Hollifield Cresawn. He was a truck driver with Yellow Freight Lines and a member of Altapass Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Byrd Cresawn of the home; two daughters, Pat Williams of Huntersville and Barbara Lynch of Maiden; one son, Randy C.Cresawn of Huntersville; three sisters, Inez Patch and Jean Bishop of Silver Springs, MD, and Margaret Biddix of Washington, NC; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Altapass Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Sisk officiated. Burial followed in Beans Creek Cemetery.
