LELAND GORDON CREWS 

SPRUCE PINE – Leland Gordan Crews, 88, of Wipprecht Drive, died Monday, April 
9, 2001 in a Roan Mountain rest home. He was the son of the late Thomas and 
Ava Bailey Crews. 

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Meyer crews. 

A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Grindstaff Memorial 
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine. Rev. Sibbald Lambert officiated. A 
private graveside service was held in Grassy Creek Memorial Gardens. 

Funeral services were held Thursday at 8 p.m. at Henline-Hughes Funeral Home 
in Bakersville. Rev. Ronnie Gouge officiated. Burial was Friday at 11 a.m. 
Friday in Russ Memorial Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. 
Thursday at the funeral home.
