EDITH V. DELLINGER 

COLUMBIA, SC - Edith V. Dellinger, a native of Spruce Pine, died Friday, Jan. 
13, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Schuyler James and Bertie Pauline 
Ledford Dellinger. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Melvin 
Dellinger. She was director of Health Information Management, Quality Assurance 
and Training Coordinator at Dorn VA Medical Center. She was a member of First 
Baptist Church of Columbia and American Health Information Management 
Association.

Survivors include her sisters, Ruby Ulmer of Columbia, Nina Guy of Statesville, 
and Nell Jarrett of Johnson City, TN; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces 
and great nephews. 

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday in Spruce Pine Memorial 
Cemetery. Dr. Paul Daniel Jarrett officiated. The family received friends from 
4-6 p.m. Sunday at Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine.
