NOAH A. DUVALL
 
BAKERSVILLE - Noah A Duvall, 92, died Friday, March 21, 2008 at his home. He 
was the son of the late Willard and Minnie Buchanan Duvall, and husband of the 
late Lucy Hoilman Duvall. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmie Lee 
Duvall; three sisters, Nora, Eve and Dollie; four brothers, Bob, Leonard, Tom 
and Norman. He was a member of Cub Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Ella Mae Bailey, Anna Rae Burleson, LouEtta 
Callahan, Billie June Callahan, and Mary Belle Callahan; one son, Paul Duvall; 
one sister, Christine Honeycutt; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 
one great-great-granddaughter. 

Funeral services were held Monday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home 
in Bakersville. The Revs. Sherrill Whitson and Ronnie Gouge officiated. The 
family received friends from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial 
donations may be made to Hospice of Mitchell County, P.0. Box 38, Spruce Pine,
