STEPHEN WAYNE DELLINGER
BAKERSVILLE - Stephen Wayne Dellinger, 68, of Cane Creek Road, died Friday, 
July 19, 2002 at his home. He was the son of the late Marvin and Susan 
Buchanan Dellinger. A member of Baptist Church of Orlando, he was employed 
by Carolina Freight for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary McKinney Dellinger of the home; a daughter, 
Susan Kearns of Orlando, FL; a son, Steven Dellinger of Orlando, FL; sisters, 
Ruth Lamkin of Plainsboro, NJ, and Rachel Lyons of Spruce Pine; a brother, 
Jack D. Dellinger of Bakersville and Pensacola, FL; and one grandson.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes 
Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. John Stafford and Mark McKinney officiated. 
Burial was at 11 a.m. Monday in Cane Creek Cemetery. The family received 
friends from 7 p.m. until the service hour Sunday at the funeral home.
