MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Edna Dotson, 9 Feb 2004

SPRUCE PINE - Edna Dotson, 85, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004 in a Spruce 
Pine rest home. She was the daughter of the late John P. and Fanni 
Fox Winkler, and wife of the late Kenneth Dotson. She was also preceded 
in death by a son, Albert Williams. She was a member of Mt. Olive 
Church in Conover.

Survivors include her daughter, Penny Young of Spruce Pine; a son, 
Jerry Williams of Snellville, GA; eight grandchildren; and nine great 
grandchildren. 
Private funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist 
Church in Spruce Pine. Rev. David Vess officiated. Burial was in Cedar 
Valley Church Cemetery in Lenoir. Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine was 
in charge of arrangements.
