I.M. DUNCAN

SPRUCE PINE - I.M. Duncan, 73, of Tempie Mountain Road, died 
Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003. He was the son of the late Isaac M. and 
Susie Rose Duncan. He was also preceded in death by a sister, 
Lillian Cox, and a brother, Edgar Duncan. A member of Berry Chapel 
Baptist Church, he retired from Henredon after 24 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Stafford Duncan of the home; a son, 
Roger K. Duncan of East Flat Rock; and a sister, Agnes McKinney of 
Spruce Pine.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Berry Chapel Baptist 
Church. Revs. Greg Hollifield, Ralph Hedrick, Brandon Young and Stuart 
White officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. The family received 
friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine.
