LEONARD DUVALL
BAKERSVILLE
Leonard Duvall, 76, of the White Oak community, died Wednesday, July 25, 2001 
in a Johnson City, TN hospital. He was the son of the late Willard and Minnie 
Cole Duvall and was a member of Cub Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Yelton Duvall; a daughter, Deborah Faye 
Lumsfurd; step daughters, Brucella Parton of Middlesburg, KY, Billie Jean 
Henson of Corbin, KY, and Sandra Hughes of Bakersville; stepsons, Wayne and 
Sam Arthur Hensley, both of Corbin, KY; sister, Dollie Hoilman of Spruce Pine; 
brothers Noah and Tom Duvall, both of Bakersville; half sister, Christine 
Honeycutt of Bakersville; half brothers, Frank, Bacus and Henry Mosley; and 
three grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Slagle Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie 
Gouge officiated. Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine was in charge of  
arrangements.
