A native of Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Emma Sailor Kauffman. A member of United Methodist Church in Fort Pierce, FL, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Porter Estes. Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Bernice Fountain of Bakersville, and Barbara Louise Hamm of Fort Pierce, FL; one sister, Jean Thompson of Fort Pierce; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville.
