NELL R. FAWCETT
ASHEVILLE – Nell R. Fawcett, 81, died Wednesday, May 15, 2002. A native 
of Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Mallie and Carrie 
Smith Bryant. She was a graduate of Pheiffer College, and was the director 
of Shrader Funeral Home in Wyoming.
Survivors include three daughters, Melanie Faith of Schaumburg, IL, Carol 
Arrowood of Asheville, and Rosemary Garcia of Cheyenne, WY; one son, Harry 
E. Ledford of Wills Point, TX; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; 
and one step grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes 
Funeral Home in Bakersville. Rev. David Martin officiated. The family 
received friends from 3 p.m. until the service hour Sunday at the funeral 
home.
