LAWRENCE NELSON FISHER
ROCK HILL, SC – Lawrence Nelson Fisher, 75, died Tuesday, February 12, 2002 at 
Piedmont Medical Center. A native of Spruce Pine, he was the son of the late 
Earl P. and Leila Buchanan Fisher. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and member 
of the VFW. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and was retired from 
Calanese Corp. with 46 years of service.

Survivors include a son, Larry Fisher of Rock Hill; a daughter, Teresa 
Crockett of Rock Hill; four sisters, Dorothy Grundy of Pittsburg, PA, Bernice 
Braswell of Rock Hill, and Lelia Ballew and Stella Thomas, both of Spruce 
Pine; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Grandvieew Memorial Park. 
Revs. Jerry Devinney and Jimmy Napier officiated. The family received friends 
from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday at Greene Funeral Home.
