GRACE LAWS GARDNER 

INGALLS - Grace Laws Gardner, 76, of Old Hanging Rock Road, died Thursday, May 
4, 2006 at her home. She was the daughter of the late John Laws and Rosa 
Adelade Burleson Laws. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Lee 
Gardner; a granddaughter, Mary Grace Gardner; two brothers; and three sisters. 
She was a charter member of Whites Memorial Baptist Church in Ingalls.

Survivors include her husband, George Lee Gardner; three sons, Gary Dean 
Gardner of Elk Park, Terry Hugh Gardner of Marion; and Tim Gardner of the 
home; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and five step 
grandchildren. 

Celebration of Life services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Whites Memorial 
Baptist Church. Martin Cook and Rev. Jim Greene officiated. Burial followed in 
the church cemetery. The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the service 
hour Monday at the church. Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine was in charge of 
arrangements.
