ETHEL GEOUGE 

BAKERSVILLE - Ethel Geouge, 75, of White Trail Branch, died Friday, Nov. 17, 
2006 in Spruce Pine Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Rom 
and Essie McKinney Geouge. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, 
Ralph and Paul Dean Geouge; and one sister, Lois Geouge. She was a member of 
Cub Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sisters, Shirley Ingram of Simpsonvile, S.C., Ada 
Potter of Florida, and Myrtle Ingram and Hettie Burgner, both of Bakersville. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes 
Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. Clifford Willis and Phillip Mordock 
officiated. Burial was in Wiley Gouge Cemetery. The family received friends 
from 1 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
