RETTA WILLIS GLENN 

MARION - Retta Willis Glenn, 97, died Thursday, June 1, 2006 in Bethany 
Nursing Home in Vidalia, GA. A native of Mitchell County, she was the daughter 
of the late Dock M. and Alice Gouge Willis, and wife of the late Howard H. 
Glenn. She was also preceded in death by a son, Grayson Glenn, and a daughter, 
June Ward. A homemaker, she was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Williams of Brunswick, GA, and Jeanne 
Grace of Omaha, NE; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two 
great great grandchildren. 

A graveside service was held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Oak Grove Cemetery. 
Rev. Eric Grindstaff officiated. The family received friends from 10-11 a.m. 
Saturday at Westmoreland Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to 
Chapel Hill Building Fund, 109 Chapel Hill Church Loop, Marion, NC 28752.
