BELLE WHITSON GREENE 

JOHNSON CITY, TN - Belle Whitson Greene, 85, formerly of Bakersville, died 
Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005 at her home. She was the daughter of the late James 
and Texie Garland Whitson, and wife of the late Ford Greene. She was also 
preceded in death by a daughter, Bernice Udry; a son, Burnie Greene Sr.; a 
grandson, Burnie Greene Jr.; two sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include a daughter, Jessie King of the home; five grandchildren; 
three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Roselawn Memory Gardens. A 
nephew, Rev. Lawson Whitson will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to 
the Johnson City Medical Center Hospice, 101 Med Tech Parkway, Suite 100, 
Johnson City, TN 37604. Morris-Baker Funeral Home and Cremation Services was 
in charge of arrangements.
