ELIZABETH TUCKER GREGORY 

SPRUCE PINE - Elizabeth Tucker Gregory, 89, of Ponderosa Drive, died Saturday, 
Aug. 20, 2005 at her home. A native of Dunn, she was the daughter of the late 
Luther Wade Tucker and Corinna Ashley Tucker, and wife of the late James Henry 
Gregory. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and Hubert 
Tucker. She had lived in Banner Elk and moved to Spruce Pine in 2004.

Survivors include a daughter, Jackie Walker of the home; a brother, Lester 
Tucker of Dunn; two granddaughters; and three great grandchildren. 
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Aug. 23 in the chapel of Skinner and 
Smith. Burial followed in Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn. A memorial service will 
be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005 at 44 Ponderosa Drive in Spruce 
Pine.
