MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Annabelle Honeycutt Garland, 11 Aug 2004

GRAY, TN - Annabelle Honeycutt Garland, 85, a native of Mitchell 
County, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004 at her home. She was the 
daughter of the late Walter and Lissia Street Honeycutt, and wife 
of the late Kenneth Garland. She was also preceded in death by a 
sister, Kansas Hill. She was a homemaker and member of St. Paul 
Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Stephen Ray Garland of Gray; a sister, 
Osma Hughes of Roan Mountain, TN; and a brother, Bill Honeycutt of 
Hampton, TN. 

Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Friday at St. Paul Freewill 
Baptist Church. Revs. Roger Laws and Bobby Campbell officiated. 
Burial was at 11 a.m. Saturday in Garland Cemetery on Blevins 
Branch Road.
