She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Pearl Green, and the wife of the late Glenn Gouge. She was a homemaker and a member of McKinney Cove Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Kay Baker of Bakersville; one son, Mike Gouge of Bakersville; two brothers, Dayton Wilson of Hickory, and Kepler Wilson of Hendersonville; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 8 a.m. Monday, June 11 at McKinney Cove Baptist Church. Revs. Don Ford and Russell McKinney officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
