BETTY WILSON GOUGE

BAKERSVILLE - Betty Wilson Gouge, 74, of McKinney Cove Road, died Saturday, 
June 9, 2001 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. She was the daughter 
of the late Clyde and Pearl Green, and the wife of the late Glenn Gouge. 
She was a homemaker and a member of McKinney Cove Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Kay Baker of Bakersville; one son, Mike 
Gouge of Bakersville; two brothers, Dayton Wilson of Hickory, and Kepler 
Wilson of Hendersonville; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 8 a.m. Monday, June 11 at McKinney Cove 
Baptist Church. Revs. Don Ford and Russell McKinney officiated. Burial was 
in the church cemetery. Henline-Hughes Funeral Home was in charge of
