ESTELLE YELTON GOUGE 

BAKERSVILLE – Estelle Yelton Gouge, 93, died Sunday, July 15, 2001 in Spruce
Pine Community Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Martha Yelton, and
wife of the late Lee E. Gouge. She was a homemaker and member of Cloudland
Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her daugher, Earlene Robinson of Burnsville; one grandson;
two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes
Funeral Home in Bakersville. Revs. Phillip Garland and Danny Silver
officiated. Burial was at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Gouge Cemetery. The family
received friends from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations
may be made to Hospice of Yancey County, 314 West main Street, Burnsville, NC
28714.
