MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Dallas Gouge, 11 Feb 2005

GREEN MOUNTAIN - Dallas Gouge, 76, of Hwy. 197, died Friday, Feb. 11, 2005. He
was the son of the late Nat and Dora Barnett Gouge. He was also preceded in
death by a brother, Kenneth Gouge.

Survivors include his wife, June Griffith Gouge of the home; a daughter, Iris
Brown of Drexel; and one grandson. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m.
Sunday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville. Rev. Phil
Graeber officiated and eulogy by Martha Simpson. Burial was in Tipton Hill
Cemetery. The family received friends from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour at
the funeral home.
