MAUDE SILVER GREENE

BAKERSVILLE – Maude Silver Greene, 85, died Monday, November 19, 2001 at 
Spruce Pine Brian Center. An expert weaver, She was the daughter of the late 
William and Susan Gouge Silver, and wife of the late George Greene. She was 
also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth s. Sparks; and brothers, Calvin, 
Melvin, Gordon, George and Homer Silver.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bakersville Memorial 
Cemetery. Henline-Hughes Funeral Home in Bakersville was in charge of 
arrangements.
