MARGARET TOLLEY HALL 

SPRUCE PINE - Margaret Tolley Hall, 75, of Halltown Road, died Monday, Jan. 2, 
2006 in St. Joseph Hospital in Asheville. She was the daughter of Alma Buchanan 
Tolley of Spruce Pine and the late Wrenn Tolley. She was an active member of 
First Presbyterian Church of Spruce Pine. She was a charter member and past 
Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Spruce Pine Chapter #27, and 
also former president, vice president and chaplain of the Gideons Auxiliary.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Calvin F. Hall of 
the home; two daughters, Helen Baucom of Clemmons, and Regina Moore of Spruce 
Pine; one son, John Hall of Spruce Pine; two grandchildren; and one step-
grandchild. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church. 
Rev. Bill Sweetser officiated. Burial followed in Spruce Pine Memorial 
Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Webb Funeral 
Home in Spruce Pine. Memorial donations may be made to Gideons International, 
Mitchell County Camp, P.O. Box 611, Spruce Pine, NC 28777; or First 
Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 764, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
