A native of Yancey County, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Blanche Robinson Masters, and wife of the late Floyd Huffman. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Gene Masters; and a sister, Maudeline Masters. She was retired from B.C. Moore's Department Store and a member of Living Word Pentacostal Holiness Church in Maiden. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Blackburn of Cherryville; three brothers, Harold Masters of Bremerton, Wash., Angus Masters Jr. of Westminster, Md., and Dean Masters of Bakersville; and a sister, Kate Conley of Bakersville. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Stamey- Cherryville Funeral Home. The Revs. Max Clark and Jerry Lail officiated, assisted by the Revs. Michael Ainsworth and Thomas Ainsworth. Burial followed in Hollybrook Cemetery in Lincolnton.
