ILEEN VISTA HUGHES 

GRAY, TN - Ileen Vista Hughes, 95, of the Pinecrest community, died Tuesday, 
Nov. 14, 2006 at Lakebridge Health Care Center. A native of Mitchell County, 
she was the daughter of the late Willard and Lula Hall Vance, and wife of the 
late Love Lee Hughes. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Joy 
Phelps. She was a member of Hopwood Christian Church.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Hughes of Gray, and Greg Hughes of Johnson 
City, Tenn.; five grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces 
and nephews. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home 
North Chapel. The Revs. Mike Garland and Byron Paddock officiated. Burial 
followed in Happy Valley Memorial Park. The family received friends from 1 
p.m. until the service hour Friday at the funeral home.
