JOE D. HUSKINS 

SPRUCE PINE - Joe D. Huskins, 72, of Ridge Road, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2005 at 
his home. He was the son of the late Cleveland and Lottie Fisher Huskins, and 
husband of the late Joyce Franklin Huskins. He was the owner and operator of 
Huskins Garage.

Survivors include his children, Melvin Joe Huskins, Maris Parsley, Kim Burleson 
and Derrick O'Shields, all of Spruce Pine; and several grandchildren. 
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Grindstaff Memorial Chapel 
of Webb Funeral Home. Rev. Cephas Renfro officiated. Burial was in Mt. Zion 
Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour 
Saturday at the funeral home.
