MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Bobbie Beatrice Duncan Harrison, 7 Jan 2005

SALISBURY - Bobbie Beatrice Duncan Harrison, 78, formerly of Spruce Pine, died
Friday, Jan. 7, 2005 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Robert and
Ruth Putnam Duncan, and wife of the late Ernest Samuel Harrison. She was also
preceded in death by a son, Wayne Harrison. She was retired from Spruce Pine
Cleaners and was a member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Jeannie Vance of Salisbury, and Lois Anne
Duncan of Burnsville; a son, Sammy Harrison of Newland; a sister, Jean Fish of
Raeford; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services were
held at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Grindstaff Memorial Chapel of Webb Funeral Home
in Spruce pine. Revs. Ken Mashburn, Dustin Duncan and Chris Morgan officiated.
Burial was at 11 a.m. Monday in Berry Chapel Cemetery. The family received
friends from 5 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home.
