MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Lewis Jackson Hash, 26 Nov 2004

SPRUCE PINE - Lewis Jackson Hash, 82, of Rockledge Road, died Friday, 
Nov. 26, 2004. A native of Sparta, he was the son of the late Carley and 
Sadie Mae Hash. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a mining 
executive with Feldspar Corporation.

Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Holeman of Rock Hill, SC, Gloria 
Marcus of Greenville, SC, and Carol Martin of Simpsonville, SC; two brothers, 
Bill Hash of Tokoma, WA, and Hugh Hash of Sparta. 

Funeral services were conducted by Woodlawn Funeral Home in Greenville, SC. 
A memorial service was held at 7 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in 
Spruce Pine.
