MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Herman Charles Henson, 15 Oct 2004

SPRUCE PINE - Herman Charles Henson, 70, of Casar, formerly of 
Spruce Pine, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2004 in a Shelby hospital. A 
native of Cranberry, he was the son of the late Charles and Minnie 
Ollis Henson, and husband of the late Betty Sparks Henson.Survivors include sisters, Lucy Mode of Casar, and Marie Nelson of 
Newland; and several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Berry Chapel Baptist 
Church. Rev. Greg Hollifield officiated. Burial followed in the church 
cemetery. The family received friends from 2 p.m. until the service hour 
at the church. Webb Funeral Home in Spruce Pine was in charge of 
arrangements.
