MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Elva Alfreda Wise Hoilman, 4 Jan 2004

SENECA, SC - Elva Alfreda Wise Hoilman, 88, a native of the Ingalls 
community, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004. She was the daughter of the 
late Jefferson Taylor Wise and Hettie Louise Burleson Wise Hoilman, 
and wife of the late Ernest Hoilman. She retired from Pratt Reed in 
Central, SC. She attended Mile Creek Baptist Church in South Carolina.

Survivors include two daughters, Helen Kelly of Greenville, SC, and 
Paula Kay (Rorick of Easley, SC; a son, Paul (Fuzz) Hoilman of Six 
Mile, SC; three sisters, Vivian Buchanan, Frances Woody and Lucille 
Hull; a brother, William Wise; eight grandchildren; six great 
grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, six step-great grandchildren, 
and several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dillard Funeral Home. 
Burial followed in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family received friends 
from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may 
be made to Pine Grove Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, Spruce Pine, N.C. 
or Mile Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, Six Mile, S.C.
